4. Account Registration and Confidentiality

5. Payment, Pricing, Delivery, and Refund Policy
5.1 Pricing
All prices are stated in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED) and include VAT where applicable. Veridian House reserves the right to revise prices, promotional offers, or packages without prior notice.
5.2 Payment Methods
Payments are processed through authorized UAE-based payment gateways that comply with the Central Bank of the UAE’s e-commerce and data-security regulations. By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method. The price and currency displayed on the checkout page will match those printed on the Transaction Receipt.
Once a payment is successfully completed, the customer automatically receives a confirmation notice via email within twenty-four hours of the transaction. The confirmation email contains the transaction reference number, payment amount, and a summary of the purchased product or service. Customers should keep this confirmation for their records.
For international orders, import duties, customs fees, taxes, or customs-clearance charges may be charged by the destination country’s authorities. Any such import duties, customs fees, or local taxes are not included in the displayed price and are the customer’s responsibility.
5.3 Delivery Policy
Veridian House FZE LLC ships its products worldwide through authorized third-party print-on-demand and courier partners.
Fulfillment Process: All items, including books and other print merchandise, are produced, packaged, and shipped by independent printing and logistics partners. Shipping and handling are managed entirely by these partners in coordination with licensed courier networks.
Delivery Options and Checkout Selection: Customers can choose their preferred delivery method, such as standard, priority, express, or international shipping, directly at checkout. All available options, estimated delivery times, and applicable fees are displayed during checkout and are determined by the third-party fulfillment and courier services. Delivery estimates are provided by these partners and are only approximate, not guaranteed.
Delivery Fees and Timeframes: Delivery costs and timelines vary based on the customer’s selected shipping option, destination, and the carrier’s terms. All fees and expected delivery windows are clearly shown at checkout before the customer confirms payment.
Veridian House FZE LLC does not set or alter these rates or schedules and does not charge any additional handling or markup fees beyond those listed.
Responsibility and Risk Transfer: Once an order is printed and dispatched, ownership and risk transfer to the carrier, who then assumes full responsibility for delivery. Veridian House will assist in coordinating with the courier if delivery issues occur.
Proof of Delivery: Customers or authorized recipients must sign the courier’s delivery receipt upon receipt. This signature confirms the order was received in good condition and should be kept for records.
Customer Information and Accuracy: To prevent delays, customers must provide a complete and accurate shipping address, including building name, apartment or villa number, city, postal code, and an active contact number. Veridian House is not responsible for delays, losses, or costs caused by incorrect or incomplete address details.
Customs, Import Duties, and Taxes: For international orders, import duties, customs fees, taxes, or customs-clearance charges may be imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in the checkout price or shipping fee and are solely the customer’s responsibility.
If a shipment is delayed, held, or returned due to customs procedures or non-payment of import duties, any additional costs incurred will be paid by the customer.
5.4 Cancellation and Refund Policy
Refunds may be approved only in the following circumstances:
● The purchased consultation or course is cancelled by Veridian House.
● Technical failure or service interruption prevents access to paid content.
● Duplicate payment or transaction error verified by our billing system.
Refund requests must be submitted within seven (7) calendar days from the date of purchase. Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method in accordance with Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection.
Refunds are not available for completed consultations, delivered digital downloads, or attended workshops. Please note that once a refund is processed, it may take up to forty-five (45) days, or within a reasonable period, for the amount to appear in the customer’s account, depending on the issuing bank or card provider. Customers may also cancel or reschedule services under the following conditions:
o One-to-One Consultations: Full refund if canceled or rescheduled at least seven (7) days before the scheduled session. Cancellations received less than seven (7) days in advance or “no-show” absences forfeit the fee.
o Workshops / Events: Full refund if canceled thirty (30) days or more before the scheduled date.
Cancellations within 30 days or failure to attend are non-refundable.
o General Orders and Digital Products: Customers may cancel their order within 24 hours of purchase; refunds will be made back to the payment method used initially.
o Print-on-Demand (Custom Products): All books produced through print-on-demand partners are custom-made for each order and are non-returnable unless defective or misprinted. Defects or damage must be reported within five (5) to seven (7) days of delivery, with supporting evidence (such as photographs) submitted to info@veridian-house.com for review. Verified defective or misprinted items will be replaced or refunded at no additional cost to the customer.
o Refunds are not available for completed consultations, attended workshops, delivered digital downloads, or printed and shipped products.
All refund and cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@veridian-house.com. Requests received after the above periods may not be eligible for review.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
All materials made available through our website, publications, or consultations including text, graphics, design, brand elements, and course materials are protected by UAE Federal Law No. 38 of 2021 on Copyright and Related Rights.
● Veridian House owns or is licensed to use all intellectual property on its website.
● Authors retain copyright in their original works, subject to individual publishing agreements.
● Users may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any material without prior written consent.
Unauthorized use of any intellectual property may result in legal action and termination of access.
7. Personal Data Protection (PDPL Compliance)
Veridian House respects your privacy and complies with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection (PDPL).
We collect only necessary personal information (such as name, contact details, and payment data) to deliver our services.

These Terms operate in conjunction with and are subject to the Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone Regulations 2022 and all related circulars and policies. Nothing herein shall be construed to conflict with your obligations or rights under those regulations. In case of conflict, the Free Zone’s official regulations shall prevail.
